Grayling Momentum has been operating in the Middle East for over 20 years and the team is made up of 25 staff from a variety of cultural and professional backgrounds. Our regional HQ is in Dubai Media City.

Events
Grayling Momentum operates a specialist events business delivering a variety of services to clients around the region. From large-scale corporate conferences to operational management for exhibition organisers, we possess the knowledge, contacts and experience necessary to deliver world class events.
The track record of the team is impeccable, from directing operations for some of the region’s largest trade fairs such as the Dubai Airshow and Cityscape, to organising hundreds of delegates to attend conferences and major product launches for HP and Group RCI. Our attention to detail and knowledge of venues and logistical challenges truly adds value to the service we offer.

Design
Our passion for connecting innovative design concepts to people through original and multi-lateral thinking has earned us a varied and loyal client base.
Our expertise is grounded in over 20 years of successful art direction and design in the region. Our diverse services include the development of brand identities and evolution, cross-media advertising campaigns, exhibition design, promotional literature and digital design.

Guy was educated in the UK and started his career with Haymarket Publishing and later joined a specialist marcoms agency working on clients such as Kellogg’s, Heinz, Coca-Cola and Kimberly-Clark.
In 1990 he moved to Dubai and became increasingly focused on Public Relations and Public Affairs, working closely with the local media, NGOs and government ministries around the region. In 2002 Guy became a founding partner of Momentum.
Guy is Managing Director for the Middle East, based in Dubai, and is also responsible for a number of clients across a broad range of industries, from leisure real estate to corporate, and from consumer goods to charitable works.
Bullock Tamara

One of the most experienced corporate communication senior counsellors within Grayling started her career as a journalist and joined our group as the first employee in the Southeast Europe in 2002. Lawyer by training, Between 2002 and 2010 Tamara managed our successful offices in Serbia, Croatia and Slovenia serving as a C-Suite corporate communication and public affairs advisor to major multinational companies and brands such as: Holcim, TetraPak, Henkel, IKEA, Coca Cola, MARS, Visa Inc, Erste Bank, Telenor, IBM, Samsung, Lenovo, Google and others. In 2007 Tamara gets deployed to Moscow where she serves as a Deputy Head of our consultancy and successfully heads our Corporate and Technology team of 20 consultants.
In 2007 and 2008 she also served as Communications Advisor to the Serbian Deputy Prime Minister Bozidar Djelic responsible for EU integrations and financial regulatory reforms. On behalf of the Cabinet she manages the team which creates communications strategy and manages relationships with leading domestic and foreign media
Her specialty is corporate reputation management and public affairs and she has an extensive experience in financial PR supporting major banking sector mergers and acquisitions. Her ability to establish and nurture sensitive governments and public sector contacts helped our clients to achieve their government relations goals and position themselves as responsible corporate citizens.
After a maternity leave break Tamara rejoins Grayling this year in Qatar bringing the wealth of international experience including the fluency in Arabic obtained at the Foreign Service Institute in Washington D.C. She is a proud wife of Todd and a mother of Robert Dusan.

Oliver Stelling joined Grayling Momentum in 2010 and is based in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. He has worked in communications for twenty years, focusing on corporate communications and reputation management while leading teams across disciplines and industries. He has provided strategic communications counsel to a wide range of public and private sector clients in 40+ markets across Europe, Asia Pacific, the Middle East, the United States, and Africa.
For four years Oliver Stelling was Chief Consulting Officer of Dubai-based BPG Group and EVP/Chief Operating Officer of BPG Public Relations where he oversaw the company’s PR client servicing and affiliate partner network across the MENA region.
Prior to that he spent seven years in senior management roles across Asia Pacific. He was a Management Partner of Ogilvy PR, leading the newly established Corporate and Financial Practice in Singapore and Indonesia. Before that he was Managing Director of Weber Shandwick Malaysia and China. Oliver works in the areas of CEO reputation and thought leadership, executive leadership, corporate and political communications, corporate messaging, media coaching and training, change communications, strategy development and implementation, and governance. Oliver holds a M.A. in Communications and Sinology from Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms University in Bonn, Germany.

Ben was instrumental in the formation of Grayling Momentum in 2002 and has worked in marketing communications for over 16 years, with at least 12 years experience in the Middle East. He has a diverse range of industry experience in a variety of sectors that include travel and hospitality, IT, finance, FMCG and entertainment.
Early in Ben's career he worked on several sponsorship and CSR projects for Mars including the Asian Football Cup, developing the pet care channel and more recently implementing a web based Ministry of Education endorsed pan-regional programme focused on physical education in schools.
Ben previously worked in a London based new media agency and has also worked on the client side in the Telecoms industry with CMG Logica, supporting the global roll out of SMS text messaging technology. Aside from public relations Ben has experience in advertising and event organization. He has worked with leading IT clients such as Microsoft, HP and AMD since the early days of his career and has gained considerable experience in the finance industry with clients such as VTB Capital, Zurich International Life and Qatar Financial Centre Authority, and has worked on several major IPOs. More recently Ben project managed the roll out of an Environment Agency Abu Dhabi public awareness campaign targeted at health and safety in the construction sector on behalf of Al Ain Municipality and in conjunction with WS Atkins.

Sonja Ohly has over 30 years experience in the communications industry in the Middle East. Sonja is German and studied Islamic Studies and Political Economics at the Justus Liebig University, Giessen, before locating to the UAE in 1978.
Sonja has advised numerous multi-national companies and local corporations on communication strategies and public affairs for the Middle East. Over the past 30 years she has developed a deep knowledge of economical and political scenarios in the Middle East. She provides strategic counsel to clients on issues ranging from corporate reputation management and executive communications to new product announcements and global brand management. Her knowledge of the region and her cultural understanding gives her a unique insight into the psychographics of local audiences.
Sonja is a founding member in Momentum. Sonja was married to a member of the royal family of Sharjah and has 4 adult sons.
