Huntsworth sister companies Grayling and The Global Consulting Group (GCG) have merged to create Grayling Global.

RS Live, the Event Management company within Grayling, recently scooped two prestigious international IVCA "LiveCom" awards. Dominating the 'Entertainment Experience' category, the company were recognised for their outstanding work for the Gaddafi Foundation in Libya - the country's first ever rock concert featuring Sir Bob Geldof in front of an audience exceeding 100,000 - as well as the spectacular launch of the Grand Lisboa Casino in Macau SAR, China.

Sylvie Biebricher, a German native who speaks fluent English and French, has joined Grayling in Brussels. She will focus on developing the corporate affairs, public relations and event management offer in Brussels. Her appointment will boost the expanding Brussels services which have grown from strength to strength making Grayling one of the leading consultancies in Brussels.


June 2007
On 1 June Citigate Public Affairs (CPA) merged with Grayling Political Strategy (GPS), the public affairs arm of Grayling, to create one of the largest and most influential European public affairs companies. Grayling’s combined public affairs offer will now have 40 staff in Europe in its wholly-owned offices in London, Brussels, Edinburgh and Cardiff, with combined PA revenues of approximately £3 million per year.

Cornwall Enterprise has appointed Grayling for a campaign to support its national Cornwall brand and Cornwall Pure Business programmes, which promote a distinctive Cornwall and market it as an inward investment location. Grayling’s initial focus is on Cornwall Business Week, which runs from June 25 to June 29, and this year is highlighting Cornwall’s leading role in developing and encouraging environmentally-friendly business.

Jayne Bassham has joined us in London as a Director from Nestle UK where she was Chief Press Officer.

Grayling's event management company, RS Live, masterminded the launch ceremony for the new Grand Lisboa casino in Macau on 11 February, while Grayling's Hong Kong office handled the media relations. The front page picture on the Asian edition of the Financial Times the following morning was but one needle in the extensive media haystack.

Grayling's Bristol office has clinched the CIPR Grand Prix Award for the West of England. Our winning campaign was on behalf of English Heritage for whom we launched its new holiday cottages collection. This campaign was also awarded GOLD for Best Use of Media Relations.


November 2006
Grayling has won two awards in the same week. First came the British Business Awards, media category, in Singapore. Two days later in Hong Kong we won PR Week's Asia Pacific Award for mid-sized network of the year.


July 2005
Grayling Asia handled the media frenzy surrounding David and Victoria Beckham, Bobby Charlton and Co(e) on behalf of the British High Commission and the British Chamber of Commerce in Singapore as the IOC assembled to award the 2012 games to London.
