  • Effectively writes a range of copy (internal/external) including: press releases, quotes, emails, status and contact reports, social media materials
  • Executes multiple projects directed by account leads, by anticipating challenges and ensuring deadline adherence
  • Provides in-depth analysis into event, announcement, campaign and coverage recaps
  • Partners on development and implementation of communication strategies, plans and launches that align with client’s objectives
  • Utilizes knowledge of traditional and digital media to maximize PR opportunities, promoting the range of PR services available to clients
  • Builds trusted relationships with journalists and media professionals covering their specialism/client area and develops their external network
  • Communicates accurately and keeps the team and client informed on progress in accordance with agreed processes, ensuring expectations are managed and any issues are escalated in a timely fashion
  • Connects with colleagues from across the global Grayling network, leveraging opportunities to work together to enhance professional development and learning
  • Proactively keeps up to date with client-specific media, industry and digital developments and seeks to apply this knowledge in their work
  • Understands the relationship between client service and profitability and works within the boundaries of budgets

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field
  • A minimum of 1 year of PR experience
  • Background in, or affinity for, consumer tech/B2B tech/financial tech space and/or  general business/markets/economics
  • Solid media relations experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience assisting with developing and executing PR plans
  • A desire to learn, improve and apply new skills and knowledge
  • Personal drive and passion for the industry
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills
  • Creative thinker and problem solver
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks and changing priorities
  • Sharp eye for detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
