Positioning National Grid as champions of infrastructure

/ Work / National Grid - Positioning National Grid as champions of infrastructure

Grayling provides political stakeholder and community relations support on a range of infrastructure projects, ensuring an open dialogue is maintained, gaining support for projects and increasing awareness of their role in addressing the energy challenge.

We hugely value Grayling’s communications advice which has been of immense value to some of our largest infrastructure projects in the UK.

Creating Advantage

We provide public affairs, planning and community relations support for the £1bn London Power Tunnels project.

We are helping National Grid Property to bring brownfield land back into use for future development, working with communities and stakeholders to support gas holder demolition and land remediation projects.

We helped National Grid to prepare their first Development Consent Order application, and are currently working on the Richborough Connection project, which will join Richborough to the existing electricity network approximately 20km away, near Canterbury.

We are delivering communications support for National Grid's 720 km interconnector between the UK and Norway, which will be the longest in the world when constructed.

Project Leader

We are proud to support National Grid with some of their most vital infrastructure projects in the UK - helping to communicate their benefits and mitigating challenges to ensure the lights stay on for future generations.
