University of St.Gallen appoints Grayling in Austria, Germany and the UK

The renowned Swiss University of St.Gallen – one of Europe’s leading business schools – has re-appointed an international Grayling team, led from London, to continue with strategic media consulting and media and influencer communications in the UK, Germany and Austria. 

Founded as a business academy in 1898, the University of St.Gallen (“HSG”) today is a university of management, economics, law, social sciences and international affairs. In 2016, the Financial Times ranked HSG top for its Masters in Management course and awarded HSG Business School 5th place in the European business schools league table. 

Grayling has been re-appointed following a recent competitive pitch to develop the universities’ media relations in UK, Germany and Austria. 

Commenting on Grayling’s appointment Marius Hasenböhler-Backes, Director of Communications at HSG, said: “The competition between universities is increasing, with each fighting for limited funding and talent. There is also a call for a new type of business leader, with bold ambitions and an intention to change the world for the better. In this landscape, we decided to go with Grayling and their strong strategic approach to showcase our vision as a leading business university, setting global standards for research and teaching by promoting integrative thought, responsible action and entrepreneurial spirit of innovation in business and society.” 

Sigrid Krupica, CEO - Grayling Austria said: “Our cross-border team is looking forward to creating a distinctive voice for HSG and the business school showcasing HSG’s commitment to, and impact on, wider society, both locally and internationally. The team will continue to capitalise on the deep knowledge of the professors and provide a collaborative international approach to the running of the account to further increase the profile of HSG and its spokespeople.”   

The account will be led by Dirk Moser-Delarami in Austria, Ingo Bosch in Germany and Deepali Schneider in the UK.
