Grayling Middle East appointed as Capital Health's digital agency

The private integrated healthcare group, Capital Health has appointed Grayling to handle its social media communications. Headquartered in Abu Dhabi, Capital Health operates two healthcare facilities in the UAE: Specialized Rehabilitation Hospital (SRH)- a specialty hospital, set to open later in 2018, that provides acute and long-term rehabilitation care, along with inpatient, outpatient and home care capabilities; and Health Shield Medical Center - a multi-specialty healthcare facility with outpatient (one-day surgery) capabilities. Grayling will manage the social presence of the group’s corporate entities and healthcare facilities.

“We are thrilled to be working with Capital Health,” says Jonathan Shillington, Manging Director, Grayling. “Social media is a key factor in influencing healthcare decisions and Capital Health recognize the need to have a robust strategy to reach both Emiratis and international patients. Our experience in this region gives us a strong understanding of local and regional insights when it comes to healthcare.”

Anu Chowdhary, Social Media Director, MEA, Grayling, added, “As part of this mandate we have devised a data-driven strategy to inform the content creation process.” She continued, “The main goal of our strategy is to educate the population about rehabilitation, best healthcare practices and bust common myths amongst the population. We are providing consumers with useful medical information through a mix of film, infographics, interactive elements and influencers campaigns – all supplemented by a targeted media-buying approach that will help us reach GCC-wide audiences.”
