Grayling UK has hired Kat McGettigan as the new Head of Consumer PR in London.
Kat, who was formerly Head of Consumer at M&C Saatchi PR, joins Grayling to strengthen and consolidate the company’s Consumer Brands practice. Kat built and led a consumer team of 40-strong before heading up Client Services across the agency. Kat has developed and worked on high-profile campaigns for Dixons Carphone, Virgin Active, Red Bull, Co-op Food and was at the core of EDF Energy’s sponsorship of London 2012.
Having worked in the industry for over twelve years, Kat has a raft of awards for her integrated campaigns. She also joins Grayling with a proven track record of attracting major blue-chip clients. Together with Grayling’s recent investment in strategic creative services, Kat’s appointment signals a re-investment into Grayling’s consumer practice.
