Public Affairs Work Experience opportunities - London
Grayling’s fast-growing public affairs team is always looking for ambitious students and recent graduates to join the team for two weeks of work experience. This is a great opportunity to work in an enthusiastic team, developing a number of key skills, and adding to your CV.
Successful applicants will work on a number of our flagship client accounts, including some of the country’s most recognisable organisations (a full list of our clients can be found on the APPC register). Grayling has a prestigious public affairs and planning practice and was named Consultancy of the Year at the Public Affairs Awards 2016.
Daily tasks will include:
Media and political monitoring
Producing research briefings on a diverse range of topics
Writing biographies of key stakeholders
Helping to organise events
Liaising with MPs’ offices
Essential candidate requirements:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A good political knowledge, and a strong interest in current affairs
A strong eye for detail
Desirable candidate requirements:
Be studying or have studied Politics, or equivalent, at university
Experience working with a political party, Member of Parliament, or inside another business
Existing experience in an agency or in-house public affairs environment
